- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Age 50 – Swellings to finger joints and pain. Visited Dr Husskisson.
RECOMMENDED - complete detox for 1 month eating only: fish and vegetables, drinking only water and herbal tea.
NO – wheat, meat, dairy, tea, coffee, alcohol, sugar, fruit or fruit teas.
IT WORKED – Bad breath and headaches started within 4 days however pain in fingers went completely.
RE-INTRODUCED - other foods but have changed diet to mainly fish and vegetables with minimal wheat, sugar, tea, coffee, alcohol but include meat and fruit.
IF pain returns, repeat strict detox for a week or until pain goes again.
EXERCISE – Cardiovascular and weights 3 x week with personal trainer.
Am now 68 pain free, nodules to fingers have progressed slightly - no other symptoms.
NO medicine or medicated pain relief ever prescribed or taken.
SO … IS DIET THE ANSWER SINCE THE EASTERN DIET CONTAINS LITTLE PROCESSED FOODS UNLIKE THE WEST WHERE THE OSTEOARTHRITIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM?
